Fair Construction was established in Rwanda in 1995 after having launched its building and civil works operations way back in Uganda in 1986. Today, Fair Construction is one of the leading construction firms in Rwanda.
In its years of operations in Rwanda, the Company is credited and evidenced by some of the magnificent structures in Kigali City for both Government and commercial enterprises including some of the most luxury residences.
Apart from buildings, the Company is credited with carrying out several civil works. We constructed major power stations (20.5 MW) at Jabana in the suburbs of Kigali City for Wartsila Finland oy , construction of 9.5 MW Hydro power plant project in Western province for ECOPOWER Sri Lanka as well as earthworks, road works, site leveling and erosion protection in Kibuye for Contour Global, USA. We also completed the installation of 648 kms of Fibre Optics cable for the National backbone Project in several parts of the Country. We have also started the 25 MW Methane gas project for Wartsila Finland Oy at Kibuye and the water supply project in Eastern province of Rwanda for Tone Engineering of Japan. We are also constructing 6 micro hydro power projects at different parts of Rwanda for TIANJIN MINGSHUO TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LIMITED (MS-Tech) of China.
Logistics
Apart from the building, civil and earthworks projects, the company:
- Operates its own concrete batching plant and stone quarries.
- Has a joinery section, metal work shop and concrete precast yard.
- Runs a fully equipped mechanical workshop for the service and repair of its large fleet of plant.
